Midfield veteran Kevin-Prince Boateng has strengthened coach Sandro Schwarz from relegation candidate Hertha BSC.
“It’s not an issue for us. He has a great relationship with the team,” said the 36-year-old after the 1-1 (0-0) win at SC Freiburg in the Bundesliga when asked about discussions about the coach.
He heard in the club that Black had “full support”. Hertha BSC had ended their misery away from home after eight defeats in a row with the draw in Freiburg. With 22 points, the Berliners are on the relegation rank.
A performance like that in Freiburg after the defeat in Hoffenheim before the international break shows “that we’re right,” said Boateng.
