The Friday evening game in the Bundesliga was interrupted for around ten minutes after a collision. Now there is news.
Heidenheim’s goalkeeper Kevin Müller suffered a concussion in the difficult clash in the game against VfL Bochum. This was announced by his club on Saturday morning. Müller had crashed into Bochum’s Ibrahima Sissoko shortly after the beginning of the second half and had immediately passed out.
Sachlers immediately hurried to help before the medical staff took over. Müller had to be removed with a stretcher. The game was interrupted for around ten minutes.
After more than ten-minute treatment, the keeper was removed from both fan camps with a stretcher under encouraging “Kevin Müller” calls and brought to the Heidenheim Clinic. “It was a classic knockout and we hope that he would come back quickly,” FCH coach Frank Schmidt said in the evening. How long Müller fails is still unclear.
