On Saturday evening not only the four finalists competed against each other for the last time. Even with mega influencer Katja Krasavice (26) and head of the jury Dieter Bohlen (69), everyone expected the final bang.
After his sexism scandal, both are enemies of each other and made no secret of it in the live shows. So far, the brawlers have given each other nothing in the ranking for the nastiest swipe – one reason why many DSDS fans were hoping for a top-class showdown.
But after moderator Laura Wontorra (32) asked that the candidates forego further Zoff, both held back.
All right – nothing quite. Katja showed that she wouldn’t let someone like Pop-Titan shut her mouth. But she was unexpectedly subtle about it.
Bumpy show start
Before it even started, there was already stress: A viewer stormed onto the stage shortly after the start of the show!

Even after that, it wasn’t stress-free.
During her moderation, hostess Laura Wontorra is interrupted by a heckling, juror Leony (25) stumbles briefly on the large show staircase. Wontorra jokes, “It’s not the Spanish, it’s the Panic Stairs.”
And Katja Krasavice? The shines in a glittering touch of nothing.

After the jury was seated, Laura Wontorra asked almost worriedly in the direction of Bohlen and Krasavice: “Can we do without beef today? Can we agree on that? That would be great.”
At first it seemed as if the two scandal jury members would fulfill the moderator’s wish.
Katja couldn’t resist a small, indirect dig at Bohlen.
After candidate Monika’s first appearance, the rapper said: “I also have to say to the dancers: respect what kind of show they are doing. They were just wearing another outfit. Then they come on stage and are just fresh. I have to think of Helene Fischer. She puts on such insane shows. So respect in any case! And of course also to Helene Fischer, who inspires me abnormally.
With that she gave Dieter Bohlen one through the back door! Because the pop titan had teased pop star Helene Fischer (38) in advance and emphasized how successful he was abroad – in contrast to Helene. Reason enough for Katja to show solidarity with the singer during the live show.
But it didn’t stop with the mini tip. Katja to candidate Lorent after his performance:
“If you should win here, then you’re going on tour with Dieter. And I heard what fees are there. If I were you, I would negotiate again. Because you’re very, very badass.”

Katja on DSDS candidate Sem, who sang for his recently deceased father: “Whenever I know that Sem is singing an emotional song, I’m always afraid of it. Because you really touch me when you go on stage. And I know exactly what you’re feeling right now. My mom is here today. And we’ve been through a lot. I lost two brothers. And I could just cry. I find it incredible.”
How did the big DSDS beef come about?
It was THE scandal of the current season: During the big castings, DSDS veteran Dieter Bohlen asked candidate Jill Lange (22): “Did you do anything normal? Or did you just graduate and let yourself be noodled through?”
The reality star had previously participated in the Ex on the Beach dating format.
A slap in the face for Jill. And for Bohlen’s jury colleague Katja Krasavice? A sexist absurdity. She then stood up for Jill and was the only one who gave the pop titan a clear opinion.
And planks? He didn’t put up with that, pampted back.
The starting signal for the biggest TV feud of the year, which now (probably) came to an end in the finale.
Shem is the winner
In the end, the supposed winning titles decided the winner. Singer Leony (25) and her team of producers had tailored their own number for each finalist. Sem sang “Don’t Let Me Go” for his dad. The composer moved: “It’s nice for me to be able to speak from the heart of someone who may not have the words for it at the moment.”
When she heard the number live, the singer was so moved that she hugged the candidate on stage. Pure goosebumps! Before the big decision, Katja once again demonstrated that she is not a fan of Dieter Bohlen. While he performed his “Brother Louie” to playback on stage, the blonde was busy with her cell phone.
At midnight, Germany’s new superstar was finally certain. For Lorent and Kiyan it was only enough for third and fourth place. Sem and Monika decided the victory among themselves. In the end, only one of the two could celebrate: Sem Eisinger was also very popular with TV viewers. He is the big winner of the anniversary season and was presented with the trophy by last year’s winner Harry Lafontien. His dad would definitely be proud.
