Katerbos is getting smaller, but that means the protest…

After mediation with Governor Carl Decaluwé, the forest will now become a lot smaller. A strip of agricultural land remains between the houses and the forest.

But the protest has not subsided. The strip that remains agricultural land is too small, the farmers say. The local residents would rather see no forest at all, and are still investigating whether they will go to the Council of State. They also regret that they were not involved in the discussions with the governor.
