Choupette is one of the richest animals in the world. He was the apple of Lagerfeld’s eye. The fashion designer loved the cat so much that he left 1.4 million euros in his will.
Kardashian and Lagerfeld were friends when Lagerfeld was alive. Kardashian says in a recent episode of The Kardashians that she wanted to take her cat with her to the Met Gala to honor her late friend’s memory.
– Choupette is supposed to be my date at the Met Gala. I want to spend time with it so that we feel a little better and know if we will get along, Kardashian tells the cameras.

Unfortunately, the two didn’t get along, and the cat didn’t go with Kardashian to the party. Choupette, a pure Burmese breed, fell in love with Kardashian at first sight. When Kardashian tried to pet Choupette, she tried to bite the reality beauty’s hand. Needless to say, the cat didn’t feel comfortable in the beauty’s arms either.
– I think he presents something difficult to achieve. He just needs a little time to warm up, Kardashian commented playfully.
According to the cat’s spokesperson, Choupette is not a good lap cat. It does not trust new people easily.
In 2023, Kardashian attended the Met Gala alone. She wore a creation by fashion house Shiaparelli made of 50,000 freshwater pearls and 16,000 crystal pearls. More than 1,000 working hours were used to make the dress.
