Former art director Karine Augis founded her eponymous leather goods label in 2019 for basics with a Parisian flair after more than twenty years in the communications and media industries. Returning to her first love – art, fashion and crafts – she launched her first collection of bags and accessories in June 2019, inspired by her own paintings and illustrations influenced by the Art Deco era. The designer has developed her own sustainable raw material, an eco-friendly premium coated canvas. The high-quality, woven material is OEKO-TEX certified and manufactured in French workshops exclusively for the brand. Together with high-quality leather for finishing, Karine creates unique bags and accessories that stand for timeless design and exceptional comfort.

Karine Augis’ collection can be purchased online through the company’s own website and at more than five retailers in France, as well as at the Wolf & Badger concept store in London. In the future, the brand plans to launch new iconic models, including a line for men.
