Another memorable interview between the British moderator Piers Morgan and Kanye West should be. But in the end there were barely three minutes of conversation and a confused host.
A conversation that never really started
On Tuesday (May 6th) the British moderator and the rapper met again in front of the camera. As early as 2022, Kanye West was a guest in Morgan’s interview format “Uncensored”, shortly after his social media accounts had been deactivated for anti-Semitic statements. At that time, the conversation lasted almost two hours, even if it became heated from time to time. This time, however, a wrong salutation was enough to make everything to tip over.
“I do not use the name West,” the musician corrects the moderator at the beginning after he had presented him with “Ye West” the viewer: inside. When Morgan asked how he was doing, West replied cryptically: “Look at this view.” When Morgan then replied that his public person is not currently giving the impression of serenity, West broke out into a confused monologue.
Monologue, misunderstandings and a quick departure
He spoke of an attack by the banks, Pierce Morgan repented when he stated the wrong X-follower number (he talked of 32 million and not 33 million followers) and then complained of a lack of recognition. “I am a gift, Bro. Why do you do media people as if you haven’t played my songs at weddings, funerals or births?”
Morgan interrupted: “What do you even talk about?” After some back and forth, Kanye West only countered: “That’s it for now. We can continue talking if you can count.” Then he got up and left the picture.
