Kalush Orchestra charts with “Stefania” several times in the top 10 in Europe

After winning this year’s Eurovision Song Contest in Turin, Kalush Orchestra celebrate success in the charts with their song “Stefania”. According to a special evaluation by GfK Entertainment, the band from the Ukraine ended up in the weekend’s European streaming hit lists several times.

In six of the nine countries examined, Kalush Orchestra can place themselves in the top 100 with “Stefania”. The Ukrainian song has particularly high chart positions in Austria (42), the Netherlands (47) and Belgium (50).

Chart hits for ESC artists

Another effect of the broadcast of the ESC final on May 14th is that the participants are represented in the single charts in their respective countries:

Jérémie Makiese from Belgium (“Miss You”, two), Malik Harris from Germany (“Rockstars”, nine), Mahmood & Blanco from Italy (“Brividi”, two), LUM!X feat. Pia Maria of Austria (“Halo”, six; eliminated in semifinals), MARO of Portugal (“Saudade, saudade”, four) as well as Chanel of Spain (“SloMo”, six). In addition, the singer S10 even reached first place in the Netherlands with “De Diepte”.

Kalush Orchestra are the ESC winners 2022

On May 14, 25 finalists competed in the 66th Eurovision Song Contest in Turin to win for their home country. Betting agencies had already identified a favorite in advance, which also emerged as the winner on the final evening: Kalush Orchestra from the Ukraine. Both the jury and the audience showed a flair for catchy melodies and solidarity with the country attacked by Russia.
