Kalervo Kummola79, will be rewarded as left -handed.
The Left Hand of the Year is chosen by Aka’s Living Music Association Almu, which tells about a recent winner on his Facebook account.
The official selection event will be held on Saturday at Viiala Market, where the recipient of the recognition will be interviewed Arto Nyberg.
Kummola has done a long job in hockey and politics. On the sports side, the most well -known pests of the “Iron Chancellor” have been the Presidency of the Ice Hockey Association (1997-2016) and the Vice President of the International Ice Hockey Association (2003-2021).
Kummola served as mayor of Tampere for 2023-25. He was a member of the Coalition Party from 1999 to 2003.
