The Finnish-Swedish Kaj band is fighting for the finals in the first semifinals of the Eurovision Song Contest. Alma Bengtsson

The Swedish-Swedish Kaj band represented Sweden performed in the first semifinals of the Eurovision Song Contest. Kaj from Vöyri brought a sauna atmosphere to the Eurovision Song Contest with his song Bara Bada Bastu.

The band sang purely and the performance saw a lot of pyro and fire in addition to the sauna on the stage.

The members of the band smiled widely throughout the performance. Sarah Louise Bennett

The audience cheered tremendously for the band, and so did social media. Both Finnish and international visa fans praise Kaj, among other things, Eurovision Song Contest Instagramin the comment box and the Jodel discussion application.

– I was moving.

– Great.

– After all, this is the winner.

– How great a show! Great performance from Sweden, this is easy to go to the finals.

However, some of Kaj’s presentation still needs to be improved.

– It’s a bit of a dilute show compared to the melofestivalen.

-Somehow, that sauna, trees and the whole thing gave Ikea feel.

– So they let the devil stay?

In particular, the lighting of the performance shares people’s opinions.

-Was there some dark lighting in Mello? Proper hell flames.

– There are too many lights and lasers.

– Am I the only one who thought those laser lights did not fit the Swedish performance?

– This time Kaj did not convince. The song is clearly worse than in the melodifestivalen, too colorful backgrounds to take attention and the shots are strangely wide and embarrassingly limited.

For some viewers, the lighting of Kaj’s presentation was too much. Sarah Louise Bennett

For some, the jumping of Kaj was not pleasing anyway.

– It’s not that good.

– I don’t understand the jump around this song.

Kaj is one of the fans’ pre -favorites. In addition, the band has been at the forefront of betting statistics throughout the spring.

During Tuesday night, it will be clear whether Kaj will be in the finals of the Eurovision Song Contest. Finnish visa representative Erika Vikman will compete for the final place in the second semifinal on Thursday, May 15th.
