The German heavyweight boxer Agit Kabayel will probably return to the ring in his home country.

As the “Bild” newspaper reports, the 33-year-old should give his comeback in Germany in Oberhausen at the beginning of next year, but the opponent for the fight has not yet been determined.

According to the media report, however, it is a top ten athlete from one of the four large world associations.

Kabayel, who has been entitled to the WBC association’s interim world champion since February, last boxed in Germany in 2023, at that time he won in his home country Bochum against Agron Smakici.

Kabayel has been hoping for a fight against the Ukrainian heavyweight boxing world champion Alexander Usyk for a few months, at least theoretically, he has won the title of a title fight as an interim shampion.

According to BILD DAZN, the right to the event that takes place on January 10, 2026 has secured.
