Käärijä will perform on Saturday at Veikkaus-arena in Helsinki. The most enthusiastic fans queued for hours for the gig.
Käärijä, who started from Vantaa, will perform on Saturday, May 23, at the sold-out Veikkaus-arena in Helsinki. There are 10,000 Käärijä fans on site at the concert. Some have arrived from abroad.
Iltalehti went to feel the atmosphere of the Eurodisko concert on Saturday afternoon before the gates opened. At evening time, there were an estimated hundreds of fans queuing for the concert in Helsinki’s Pasila.
Käärijä fans interviewed by Iltalehti said that they came to the place as early as seven in the morning. The organizer of the concert, Warner Music Live, had announced that it is not allowed to stay in the yard of the Veikkaus-arena, and you may not queue for the concert in the yard of the arena before noon. Fans told Iltalehte that they queued in the streets near the arena and at the Pasila train station. They moved into the arena as soon as it was allowed.
The first to queue at the gates of the Veikkaus arena Jenna, Kiara, Lumia, Matilda and Katarina are also through the friend Käärijä. On the day of the gig, they wanted to give something back to Käärijä and they had a big fan project to organize. They made no less than 9,000 cardboard hearts for the concert guests. Hearts were meant to be lifted into the air Desert– during the song as a thank you to Käärijä and the entire background team of the concert. I have been making cardboard hearts for almost half a year.
In the video above, see what the Dane Micah thinks about Käärijä and how many times he has traveled to Finland because of the artist.
