The Hague – De Volksbank will remain in state hands in the coming years. Minister Kaag (Finance) wants the bank to remain calm internally for a bit longer and start working on the ‘new strategy’. At ABN Amro it remains the intention to transfer the remaining interest to the stock exchange, but it remains unclear how and when.
