The attacker wants to define everything as soon as possible, so as to focus only on Norway. The Argentine is in no hurry and wants to take advantage of the summer showcase to get other offers
Juve has identified Alexander Sorloth as the center forward of the future. The road to bringing the Atletico Madrid column to Turin may intertwine with that of a teammate from last season, namely Nico Gonzalez. The Argentine arrived in Simeone’s team on loan from Juve: Spalletti would gladly welcome him back a year later, but the player rejected the proposal and doesn’t even think about returning to Turin. Nico Gonzalez’s stay at Atletico Madrid is more than a hypothesis, but it is not a given that the two operations have the same maturation time.
GRADE
—
Sorloth has already expressed his appreciation for the Juventus destination, but wants to define everything before the World Cup, so as to concentrate fully on the American expedition with Norway. There are also other Premier League clubs interested in the player, so much so that the request to sell him has risen from 30 to 35 million. However, the figure remains within reach and does not upset Juve, who could reduce spending by taking advantage of the Nico Gonzalez card with the Argentine’s definitive move to Atletico: the Continassa men would like to realize something like 22-25 million, with a variable part linked to bonuses. Juve’s plans, which at that point should bring out no more than 10-12 million in cash, however, conflict with the wishes of the person directly involved in the deal.
POSITION
—
Nico Gonzalez is not in such a hurry to define his transfer to Madrid, rather he is intent on understanding what else can move around him over the summer, also taking advantage of the World Cup showcase. This position is essentially dictated by two factors: the winger was upset with the treatment Juve reserved for him last summer, having dumped him after just a year; and then. although he was pleased to remain at Atletico, he also understood that the club did not do everything to keep him, not buying him out as per the agreements to sell him back at a lower price. Now the Argentine wants to think about it carefully, because he absolutely doesn’t want to make a wrong choice: defining everything after the World Cup, however, does not play in Juve’s favor in the times with which Sorloth would like to clarify his future.
