The decision in poker for Chelsea defensive talent Renato Veiga has apparently been made – in favor of Juventus Turin instead of Borussia Dortmund. According to consistent Italian media reports, the Bianconeri and the Blues have agreed on a six-month loan without an option to buy for the 21-year-old defensive all-rounder.

Veiga will cost a loan fee of 5 million euros and will be used at Juventus in the sparse central defense – reportedly his favorite position. BVB had been associated with the ex-Basel and ex-Augsburg player, especially in relation to bottlenecks at the back left. Veiga mostly played there in his first six months at Stamford Bridge.
In the summer, Chelsea transferred a transfer fee of 14 million euros to Switzerland for the left-footer, who is now tied down until 2031. An offer from Dortmund is said to have been rejected last weekend.
Kolo Muani is allowed to go to Juventus: PSG terminates Bernat’s contract
From Juventus’ perspective, a solution is also emerging with ex-Frankfurt striker Randal Kolo Muani. The 26-year-old has been training in Italy for days, but for bureaucratic reasons the loan from Paris Saint-Germain has not yet been finalized – because the French already have too many players on loan (read the details here).
One of these is the former Munich player Juan Bernat, who has been playing for FC Villarreal in his native Spain since the end of August. The 31-year-old’s contract, which expires at the end of the season, will now be terminated, reported transfer reporter Fabrizio Romano.
