The Juventus striker is not under investigation: he appeared before the magistrates in the early afternoon as a person informed on the facts as had happened for Cherubini and Arrivabene, he will not be the only player called
The work of the Turin Public Prosecutor’s Office continues in the context of the ‘Prisma’ investigation, which at the end of November had led to the registration in the register of suspects of the top management of the Bianconeri (Andrea Agnelli, Pavel Nedved, the former Fabio Paratici plus 3 executives and former of the finance area and Juve’s lawyer Cesare Gabasio) for issuing invoices for non-existent transactions and false communications from listed companies. The prosecution is now investigating the agreement linked to the reduction in salaries that Juventus players had reached with the club in full pandemic, in March 2020: after yesterday’s searches, Paulo Dybala was called to testify today.
TRAINING POSTPONED
–
The Argentine player is not under investigation but was heard as a person informed on the facts, as had happened for Cherubini and Arrivabene, and for sure he will not be the only player called. At 3 pm he should have been at Continassa for training, the first after the break with Juve, instead he had to change plans. Various agents and lawyers have already been called that the players would rely on for private writings related to the agreements between players and clubs. According to the accusation, Juve would have agreed on the reduction of 4 months and at the same time also the integration in the salaries of the following years, without however inserting it correctly in the budget. According to prosecutors Ciro Sartoriello, Mario Bendoni and the adjunct Marco Gianoglio would be another element that would prove the false accounting allegations they are investigating, in addition to the fictitious capital gains that started the investigation.
HEARING
–
Dybala arrived around 3 pm, accompanied by the driver Marino. The judges want to see clearly on the agreements reached with the club, in particular on the timing, and the players but above all the prosecutors (who in turn are not involved) can provide useful information to add to the papers they found in the searches in Milan studios. Turin and Rome (including that of agent Alessandro Lucci, who follows Cuadrado, Bonucci and the former Kulusevski and has already been called up) to which the bianconeri would have relied for private writing.
CLOSING IN SPRING
–
At this point, the closure of the investigation, expected in a few weeks, could be postponed. The prosecutors are awaiting the report of the substantial economic (Emrico Stasi) who has the task of analyzing all the documents seized in the two searches in November and December. The goal is to close by spring.
