‘What is happening is catastrophic and unjust’
HAMAR – Jutta Leerdam dedicates her world title with tears in her eyes to her coach Kosta Poltavets. The 59-year-old Ukrainian has been in Hamar all week to support his 23-year-old pupil around the World Sprint Championship, but is constantly on his mind with his family and friends in the country that has found itself in a catastrophic situation. “With the battle that Jutta has fought, she also wants to offer some help and support to the people who have to survive there,” says Poltavets.
