The album was produced by the band itself and mixed by David Wrench, who has already worked with Frank Ocean and FKA Twigs, in the Black Mountain Studio in Dundalk. Just Mustard were present with their previous albums Wacesday and Heart Under (2022) in the Shoegaze scene.

Wider spectrum of emotions

The new longplayer comprises ten titles and retains the elements typical of Just Mustard such as distorted guitars, unconventional sound design and concise bass. However, the sound was further developed in a warmer and an hymnic direction. While Heart Under mainly dealt with topics such as grief and longing, what is just here reflects a wider spectrum of emotions and feelings of life.

Positive feedback for the last album

Before the album announcement, the band released the single Pollyanna in June and announced a number of concerts at smaller venues. Just Mustard has played as support for The Cure, Depeche Mode and Fontaines DC in recent years
