After the warmth of the past days, it cools down considerably. We will have to deal with rain and thunderstorm this weekend and early next week. But the heat will return at the end of next week. Jeroen Elferink van Weerplaza told us on Saturday morning in the radio program Weekend on Omroep Brabant.
This Saturday we are dealing with a lot of clouds. But according to Elferink, the temperature is still quite up to level: 20 degrees in the north of the province and just 25 degrees in the southeast. “Occasionally a little rain can fall, but that is nothing compared to the rain that will fall on Sunday.”

It remains cloudy on Saturday evening and night. Even then some rain falls. It cools down to about 15 degrees.
Sunday morning starts with a few showers. After that it will be a bit drier for a few hours. “But in the afternoon and evening a number of firmer showers follow, with a thunderstorm. It can really go through.”
Between the showers it will be about 20 degrees. “But significantly lower during the showers.”
“A new high -pressure area is building up.”
Monday and Tuesday are also characterized by showers. There is then a sturdy northwest wind. “It won’t be much warmer than 18 degrees.”
From Wednesday we will see the sun again. “A new high -pressure area is building up,” said the weatherman of Weerplaza on the radio. “At the end of the week we go to summer or tropical values again. I dare not say whether it will be just as bad as last weekend. But 30 degrees will certainly be in it.”
