Just as many new catering establishments were founded as in the previous year

This trade fair is being held for the fourteenth time this year. 170 exhibitors will present their products, including many newcomers.

Figures from Horeca West-Vlaanderen show that 693 catering companies were founded in our province last year. That number is the same as in 2021. Although there were more catering establishments that stopped last year. That doesn’t stop some starters on the stock market. They receive training from Horeca Vlaanderen.

“I opened a pop-up concept in Wallonia with my friend last year and now we are looking to open definitively in the summer. We are here to find extra information, things we didn’t know yet and learn something” , says Lloyd Henneman.

The catering trade fair will take place until Thursday in the Staf Versluys Center in Bredene.
