Locadia barely got to play at Brighton. He signed a contract until the end of the season with Bochum, where he will play with shirt number 19.
The former PSV player, who won the championship twice with the Eindhoven club, only received playing minutes in the Premier League once this season. At the end of November he was allowed to participate as a substitute for more than 20 minutes against Leeds United (0-0).
At the beginning of 2018, the English club paid around 16 million euros to PSV to take over Locadia. The striker did not become a regular base player at Brighton. He played the 2019-2020 season on loan in the Bundesliga for Hoffenheim. He scored four goals in eleven league games. Locadia then played for a year and a half on a rental basis for the American club FC Cincinnati.
