The son of former national coach Jürgen Klinsmann will play in Italy in the future. The 26-year-old Jonathan Klinsmann signed a contract with third division club FC Cesena until June 30, 2026. As the club announced, the goalkeeper will be officially introduced this Friday and will wear number 33.
Klinsmann last played for Los Angeles Galaxy and has been without a club since January 1st. The German-American played one game in the Europa League for the then Bundesliga club Hertha BSC and was part of the US national team squad for two international matches against England and Italy in 2018, but was not used.
