Paris (AP) – National soccer player Julian Draxler and his partner Sethanie Taing are expecting their first child. The couple published a photo with an ultrasound image on Instagram, which also caused happy reactions from Draxler’s colleagues.
Antonio Rüdiger, Franck Ribéry and Jérôme Boateng were among the 140,000 people who gave the picture the Like symbol by Saturday morning. Lukas Podolski, 2014 world champion together with Draxler, wrote “Finally” with a smiley.
The 28-year-old Draxler and Taing have been a couple since 2019. The attacking midfielder is currently unable to play for Paris Saint-Germain in the final stretch of the season due to knee surgery. In late autumn, Draxler would like to make the leap into the squad of national coach Hansi Flick for the World Cup in Qatar.
