Mikkelin Jukurit will be able to keep its defense in the regular player’s team next season as well.
According to the information received by Iltalehti, the Danish defender Oliver Larsen will continue in Jukurei also in the 2023–24 season.
The 23-year-old Danish national team player is playing in Etelä-Savo for the second season. The man scored 1+17=18 power points in 42 regular season matches last season.
This season, the 185-centimeter defender has been injured and played 16 matches. 0+8 points have been created in them.
The league’s bigger clubs such as Ilves and HIFK reportedly courted Larsen with good salary offers for next season. However, the right-shooting defender wanted to stay in Jukurei to develop By Toni Lydman under a watchful eye.
On Tuesday, the League’s color spot announced Pekka Jormakan extension contract. Jukurit is looking for one more defender for this season.
