The lawyers of the accused, the co -plaintiff and the public prosecutor then accused the judge of biasing what she retired from the procedure.
Maradonna process: Continued with other judges?
On Thursday, the court will now decide on how to proceed. According to media reports, the process, chaired by another chamber, could continue or the procedure suspended and re -rolled up.
Since March, seven doctors and nurses from Maradona have been on trial in San Isidro north of Buenos Aires for manslaughter. All accused reject the allegations. In the event of a conviction, they face imprisonment of up to 25 years.
Maradona died of a heart attack on November 25, 2020 in a private residential complex at the age of 60. A few weeks earlier, he had undergone brain surgery. According to the investigators, massive mistakes were made in the home care of the world champion in 1986, which was difficult to health.
