Real Madrid is still without a loss of points after four rounds and Bellingham has scored in every game. He now has five hits, two more than Álvaro Morata (Atlético Madrid) and Takefusa Kubo (Real Sociedad). Bellingham is the 14th player to score in his first four La Liga matches and the second to do so for Real Madrid after Cristiano Ronaldo in 2009.

Bellingham, who came over from Borussia Dortmund for 103 million euros at the beginning of this summer, already scored on his debut against Athletic Bilbao, twice against Almería and he scored the only goal ten minutes before the end last Friday against Celta de Vigo. Those were all away games. Today Bellingham played for the first time in his new home stadium Estadio Santiago Bernabéu, where a large-scale renovation has finally been completed after more than three years.

As a teenager, Bellingham had already shown himself to be an extraordinary talent. After no less than 44 games at the age of sixteen for Birmingham City, he made the switch to Borussia Dortmund for 30 million euros in 2020. There he played no less than 132 games in three seasons, in which he scored 24 goals and 25 assists. So this summer he made the switch to Real Madrid for more than a hundred million euros, where he immediately manages to take the team in tow.

Former Real Madrid striker Borja Mayoral put Getafe ahead in the eleventh minute after an error by Real Madrid defender Fran García and Antonio Rüdiger. Coach Carlo Ancelotti’s side appeared to be awarded a penalty midway through the first half, but that decision was reversed when footage showed that Bellingham had not been hit.

Striker Joselu, who came over from RCD Espanyol, brought Real Madrid alongside shortly after the break, after which it was a long wait for Bellingham to strike again for the Madrilenians. Getafe caused a stir in the last hour of Deadline Day on Friday evening Manchester United exile Mason Greenwood to capture.
