The tenth season of NPO hit All of Holland Bakt starts on Sunday, December 18. That reports Omroep MAX. The formula of the program has not changed: ten bakers try to convince jury members Janny van der Heijden and Robèrt van Beckhoven of their talents in the kitchen. The presentation is once again in the hands of André van Duin.
MAX promises a ‘spectacular anniversary season’, but does not provide further details about the specific details of the tenth series. The candidates will be announced shortly.
What the broadcaster does share is it recipe of the so-called ‘leader pie’, the baked goods that appear in every episode of Heel Holland Bakt. ‘But it has never been baked by any of the home bakers. Until now. Because in the jubilee season, the bakers throw themselves into the most popular cake in the program: the leader cake! A tasty cake with praline and raspberries.’
All of Holland Bakt is based on the British ratings hit The Great British Bake Off. This successful program has now even been turned into a musical in the United Kingdom, in which various prominent participants of the television competition are followed. Omroep MAX announced earlier this month that it was investigating the possibilities of bringing the musical to the Netherlands as well. MAX cannot yet say whether it concerns the English version, a translation or its own Dutch version.
