Jotky! Toni Rajala knocked Tappara out of the CHL

Tampere Tappara, the reigning champion of the CHL, will not play in the Euroleague playoffs this season.

Jytky was confirmed late on Tuesday evening, when Petri Matikainen coached by the Swiss team Biel-Bienne beat the team from Tampere on their home field 6–3 and advanced to the next round.

Tappara conceded two underpowered goals in the game.

The home team’s 4–3 winning goal was scored in the final set Toni Rajalawhich surprised Christian Heljangon in the stable. The same man was also responsible for the last 6–3 hit of the game.

This is the first time that axe-breasts are not seen in the CHL playoffs.

Lukko, on the other hand, beat Servette in Rauma 3–2 on Tuesday and advanced to the playoffs.
