José Mourinho: Star trainer can be seen in Stormzy’s music video

British rapper Stormzy’s new music video features an unexpected guest. You could almost miss it, the clip for the single “Mel Made Me Do It” is ten minutes long and the performance follows almost at the end. But it is actually the legendary coach José Mourinho who looks conspiratorially into the camera.

Mourinho is currently head coach at AS Roma, but has previously coached one top club after the other, from Real Madrid to Chelsea. In the video, he stands in a circle with Stormzy and other men. While the others put their index finger to their lips, he says in English: “I’d rather not speak. If I speak, I’m in big trouble.”

Otherwise, the video can be seen. Not only is there an excerpt from a fake talk show, other prominent guests can also be seen: the rappers Little Simz, Dave and singer Gabrielle all support Stormzy with a cameo appearance.

Taking to Instagram, Mourinho confirmed that he is indeed the person in the video. “It was a lot of fun filming this cameo scene for Stormzy’s new music video out today,” he wrote. “I had a great time.”
