TV personality and motor sportsman Jorma Pulkkinen deceased Anna-Liisa-wife was blessed the other week and the deceased’s ashes are sprinkled in the sea at his own request. The Pulkkines were together for 70 years, married for 64 years.
– The ashes of my beloved will be scattered near Suomenlinna. There are a dozen of us who are close to us, wishing you a good trip. I properly organized a tourist boat that works in traffic in the summer. Missing is hard, I miss Anna-Liisaa every day, Jorma says swallowing.
– Until the end, I went by his side a couple of times a day, but I wasn’t there to hold his hand when I left. I saw him in the evening and my wife died in the morning. His last words to me were “why did this happen to me and I want to go home”, I remember those sentences, Jorma says.

Jorma Pulkkinen turns 86 on December 2. The Spanish sun and sea are already flashing in the eyes.
– I don’t really want my own apartment in Spain at this age, but I’m going on a trip of former professional and civilian pilots and travel officers to the vicinity of Torremolinos, it’s refreshing, Jorma tells Iltalehti.
The car already has winter tires on it.
– It was great when I got my driver’s license renewed for five years after I turned 85, that’s fine.
