The journalist Liliana Franco questioned the continuity of Guillermo Francos in the government of Javier Milei. In the television series hosted by Jonathan Viale, The former Intratables targeted the Chief of Staff and his probable resignation after the national legislative elections next Sunday.
La Libertad Avanza comes to these national elections with lower expectations than they had months ago. Scenarios of both victory and defeat appear on the horizon, but not resounding triumph. Given this scenario, it is taken for granted that there will be movements, resignations and castlings of several ministerial officials and their positions.
“I have a contract with the population, with the Argentines and I am going to fulfill it. What does that mean? That facing the second stretch of this mandate, I am going to rearrange the Cabinet to achieve the objectives of the second generation reforms and that is what I am going to do. That is, on the 26th, at night, with all the numbers, I will see what type of framework I need to achieve the objectives,” stated the president in a report on Public TV.
Although Milei empowered Francos in recent months, as one more element of the triangle formed between the president, his sister and the advisor, Santiago Caputo, many believe that the functions of each one should be well defined if the position of Chief of Staff is to coexist. Beyond that, those around Francos state that there are no definitions that can be made before the results are known.
