How were the beginnings of the business?
Jolivot Models was born in 2017 under the direction and vision of Diego Jolivot, who identified a key need while working as a fashion photographer in academies. Many of these institutions did not meet the real expectations and needs of students, as they lacked relevant content and an inclusive approach. Driven by models and designers who trusted his work, Diego decided to found an academy accessible to everyone, regardless of physical characteristics or sexual identity, where personality and professional ethics are the most important thing.
What are the services you provide to the public?
We offer comprehensive modeling training, adapted to different profiles. Our main course is professional modeling, which includes catwalk, photo posing, social networks, styling and personal well-being, among others. We also offer a child modeling course for the little ones and a specialized course in graphics and advertising, focused on techniques for photographic and audiovisual work.
In addition, we have a complete fashion production course, which ranges from styling to event organization, and the Model Camp, an intensive development that combines key skills such as catwalk, photoposing and network management. We complement our training with events such as the “Fashion Experience”, where students work alongside brands and designers to project themselves professionally.
How do you project your brand in the medium term?
We plan to consolidate our current headquarters in Morón, Ramos Mejía and Tortuguitas, and expand with the new headquarters in Palermo, which opens in February. We are also looking to expand alliances with designers and brands to offer more opportunities to our students. At the same time, we want to enhance digital content and create specialized workshops for graduates and new interested parties.
What are your differentials in the sector?
Our inclusive and ethical approach is a fundamental pillar. We not only train models, but committed professionals. We offer comprehensive training that combines technical, artistic and personal aspects, with personalized follow-up that includes career projection, adapted exercises and constant communication with families to guarantee a safe and positive experience.
If you were starting over, what would you do differently?
I would invest more time in dissemination from the beginning. Lack of visibility was a challenge at first, but the pandemic taught us the importance of social media and strategic alliances. If I had the opportunity, I would first bet on strengthening our digital presence.
