Johnny de Mol will not return later this summer as a presenter of the Oranjezondag. Hélène Hendriks, however, is still in a wheelchair and that is why there is a new replacement: Thomas van Groningen.
It even came for Hélène Hendriks as a surprise: this year she would not only present her talk show De Oranjezomer for the first time, but would also go to Johnny de Mol for a few weeks. Due to an acute hernia, everything went differently: Hélène has not yet been seen as a presenter of her own program.
Twelve weeks
The initial plan was that Hélène would present the first eight weeks of the Oranjezomer, after which Johnny would do the last four weeks. Because of that hernia operation, Johnny was announced for the first four weeks and the last four weeks-for the four weeks in between, the hope was that Hélène would have recovered again.

New substitute
