John van den Heuvel is completely done with Johan Derksen. The fallen crime journalist portrays the Today Inside mustache as ‘a kind of Joe Biden’. “We are going to do something about that.”
You would think that after his enormous blunder in the Marco Borsato case and his recent mistake regarding Sylvia Geersen, John van den Heuvel would better focus on his craft again, but nothing could be further from the truth. He is currently mainly busy cleaning up the rubble of Rob Geus. And giving interviews about it.
John is angry
Rob does not work completely cleanly in his program The Hygiene Police, produced by John. Not only have the gentlemen been reprimanded by the judge because they made secret recordings in a sauna, but according to Johan Derksen, who knows the sauna owner, they have also tampered with samples.
And John is now reacting very angrily to that radio show from his good friend Gordon. “You know when you make certain programs that may be controversial that you sometimes receive criticism, but the low point was last Friday when Johan Derksen suddenly went on a rampage,” he says.

Then John puts on the Today Inside mustache like a senile man. “Derksen is a kind of Joe Biden. He no longer sees what he reads. He chatters it all over. Yes, we are going to do something about that.”
Host Gordon then rubbed his hands: “Yes, I wanted to ask that, because that is libel and slander if you have it all thrown at you like that. Are you going to do something about it?”

Will John indeed take action against Johan? “Well, I’m not just the boss of the production company,” he answers. “The three of us do that and we will consider at least filing a report against the sauna owner because this is simply going too far.”
He concludes: “We will work it out with Johan Derksen, I think, but this also happens as a crime reporter and TV producer.”
