– The war in Ukraine is an incomprehensible tragedy. As a person and an artist, I wanted to respond to it meaningfully. So today, for the first time, I played my father’s song ImagineJulian writes on Youtube.

– Why now, after all these years? I had always said that the only moment I would consider presenting Imagine would be the end of the world.

Julian says he considers the performance important, as the words of the song wish for world peace, which is presumably a topical issue in the middle of a war.

– This song takes us to a place where love and togetherness are real, albeit only for a moment. The song represents the light at the end of the tunnel that we all hope for.
