Johan Derksen turned 77 yesterday, but blowing out candles? No, he doesn’t do that. He does open fire on John van den Heuvel in front of the camera of Shownieuws. “How low!”
It has been a ball between Johan Derksen and John van den Heuvel for years. Those two really hate each other. It regularly leads to trouble in Today Inside, because Wilfred Genee is John’s den buddy. The crime journalist is not averse to sending barking letters to Johan. The funniest thing? Johan’s lawyer is Royce de Vries, who John hates.
Manipulation
Anyway: John did get Johan on his knees this week in the sauna issue surrounding Rob Geus. The hygiene creep secretly filmed in a sauna and that is of course too disgusting for words. Rob should run a finger over his own recordings; see how much dirt that’s what it’s all about. But there was no ‘manipulation’, as Johan claimed.
What does Johan think of it afterwards? “I mentioned the word ‘manipulate’ with samples and she (John’s business partner, ed.) says: ‘You manipulate it on purpose, we made a mistake. That was very sloppy, but it wasn’t on purpose’, so I retracted the manipulation and added ‘a mistake, sloppy’. That’s all.”
How deep to sink?
Those barking letters from John are starting to bother Johan a bit. “I’m getting a bit tired of John van den Heuvel, because he gives everyone a run for their money and he has a program with Rob Geus, who I think is a village idiot and invades everywhere and thinks that things are not clean, and yes, he damages companies with that.”
“But when we say something about John van den Heuvel’s company in the program, he is completely at his wits’ end and even goes to Gordon’s morning show to prove his point. Then I think: well, how low can you sink to go to Gordon’s morning show? Besides the fact that no one listens to it.”
