The film is a Finnish director Joey Palmroos and a social media influencer and producer Dora Palmroosin the second feature film by production company Arctic Renegades.

– Last Sunday, we were sitting at the dining table with the family, when we received shocking news, the Palmroos write on Instagram.
– We encountered a completely new problem with the film’s wide international distribution, which we really didn’t know how to prepare for, even though it is an unfortunately common problem.

The palm roses tell you how Delivery Run -film was pirated in France and India. In other words, the film was distributed without permission.
– As a crime, this is serious and can lead to a prison sentence of several years in addition to fines and compensation penalties. The problem is still shockingly common, which we learned about through our own experience.
– All the years of work for the movie, which was done around the clock with full love, not to mention all the financial assets tied to it, and now someone had decided to take it from us. A total punch in the stomach and we were both in complete shock.
In the past week, the couple running the production company has clarified the matter with distributors in different countries. Palmroosi write in their publication that the situation has now been clarified and resolved.
– Really shook us up about what kind of dark sides the wide distribution and international playing field is full of.
Delivery Run is Turku-based Joey Palmroos’ second feature film. Joey serves as the film’s director, co-writer and one of the producers.

Dora also said that she was puzzled by the situation.
– We hadn’t even gotten a hotel room yet, when people were already waiting, wanted group photos and asked for numbers for movie posters.
