Joël van Kaam will leave FC Groningen at the end of this season. He requests a transfer to the second division team ACV from Assen.
Van Kaam was scouted by FC Groningen at an early age. He went through the club’s entire youth academy and made his debut in the main squad in De Kuip against Feyenoord in 2020. In the 2021/2022 season he played at FC Emmen and then returned to FC Groningen.
Van Kaam played six matches with FC Groningen in the Premier League and sixteen matches with FC Emmen in the first division. Van Kaam can play in both defense and midfield.
Luca Broers
Luca Broers from FC Meppel will also switch to ACV at the end of the season. He previously played for MSC and was part of the youth academies of SC Heerenveen and FC Emmen.
