It can be concluded from the letters that Exotic already got down on one knee for Graham in August of last year. Exotic, who is known from the Netflix documentary Tiger King, writes that his new partner is the opposite of his ex Dillon Passage, from whom he is divorcing. “John is an old soul who doesn’t want to take the limelight. He loves me for who I am.”
Exotic is said to have met the man in prison last February. Both were then held in a cell in Texas. Joe is serving a 21-year sentence for animal cruelty and plotting the murder of his rival Carole Baskin. Graham is said to have been charged with burglary and possession of weapons, but has since been released.
Exotic and Passage announced last year that they split up, but so far there has been no official divorce. The two met in late 2017 and married two months later.
