Jobe Bellingham comes to a special vehicle for the training session of Borussia Dortmund – not without reason.
With an unusual appearance, Jobe Bellingham caused a sensation at the start of training from Borussia Dortmund. The 19-year-old was driven on Saturday with an electric car from Polestar-a model that is not yet on the market.
The car was covered with a striking camouflage film in the camouflage design. The reason: the vehicle is polestar 5, a prototype that will only be officially presented at the IAA in September. The series model is said to be over 850 hp at the top.
After the training session, Bellingham and teammate Daniel Svensson were allowed to test the electric car on a short trip-but only as a passenger. Since the vehicle is still in development, Polestar made its own driver available.
The background to the campaign is a possible partnership between the Swedish car manufacturer and BVB. Both sides are currently negotiating a million deal with a term of three years. The collaboration has not yet been officially confirmed.
