Job Knoester attacks Studio Voetbal: ‘Most boring program ever!’

The men of Today Inside are making fun of semi-competitor Studio Voetbal. Table guest Job Knoester has even ‘never seen such a boring programme’.

Studio Voetbal’s viewing figures are not going well and in an attempt to get things going a bit, they are now going to allow the public to enter the studio. In this way they will of course become a little more like Today Inside and that program is a mega success. But will the deadly serious analysts of the NOS help?

Public pay

In any case, Wilfred Genee responds cynically Today Inside: “Yes, they do that because it was such a huge success at the European and World Championships. That has nothing to do with this program.”

René van der Gijp is very blunt: “They should just pay the public, shouldn’t they?”

Wilfred: “And you mean a lot?”

René: “Quite a bit, yes!”

Wilfred: “Also to laugh and stuff?”

Until it’s over

René fears the worst. “Well, otherwise you’ll get an audience like Renze’s. They are behind it waiting for it to be over.”

Johan: “Look, of course it is true, René… We don’t have to imagine anything, but if you look around at HLF8, De Oranjezomer and Van Roosmalen and that other guy… They all try to imitate us.”

René: “Yes, of course.”

Johan: “This is also because of us. They say: why do those guys have more viewers? Because there is an audience!”

Driving viewers away

Wilfred: “Have you actually watched Studio Voetbal?”

René: “Yes, I watched it. It is always useful to start the first half hour with Frans Hoek, because then you know that all your viewers have left. Hahahaha!”

Johan: “No, but they can put five thousand people there in public, but as long as Professor Doctor Hoek is there, no one will look. Van der Vaart is the only one who makes it fun as a character and Pierre just grumbles and then the rest are extras. Now that Corner is important… Boy, it only produces clichés.”

‘Very boring!’

Table guest Job Knoester thinks Studio Voetbal is terrible. “Well, I watched last week and I’ve never seen such a boring show. It’s so boring!”

According to Rafael van der Vaart, the program will perform better with an audience. And especially him: “I like it that when I make a joke, someone laughs.”
