Joaquín Levinton suffered a heart attack in a bar in the Buenos Aires neighborhood of Palermo and is admitted to intensive care at the Fernández Hospital. The singer of the band Turf was in the “Don Jesus” redoubt, located on 1697 Dorrego Street, when he suffered severe chest pain and decompensated. The people who were next to the 50-year-old artist urgently called the Emergency Medical Care Service (SAME), which carried out an emergency transfer.

In dialogue with TN, Alberto Crescenti explained that Levinton “suffered cardiac decompensation with hypotension and sweating while doing a show.” Crescenti clarified that a few minutes ago from the Fernández Hospital they confirmed the singer’s diagnosis: acute myocardial infarction. The head of SAME confirmed that he is out of danger.

“This man had tense chest pains, so we assumed that a heart attack had to be ruled out. That’s why the decision was made to compensate him and the shock room at the Fernández hospital was notified,” Crescenti explained. The specialist reported that the singer is admitted to intensive care, where different studies will be carried out to evaluate his health condition.

He also warned that SAME is in contact with the authorities of the Fernández Hospital to obtain a medical report on the evolution of Levinton’s health. In that sense, he highlighted: “The speed of the transfer prevented major illnesses, pump failures and other pathologies that occur when these typical pains begin. We must wait for the rest of the studies.”

A few hours before the episode, the singer showed through his Instagram stories an image of “The four doors to inner order”, one of his published books. “Little things are coming,” wrote the Turf leader in an image that was published this Thursday afternoon.
