The extremely talented striker Joakim Kemell returns to JYP Jyväskylä on a loan contract, the club informs.

Earlier this summer, Kemell signed a three-year rookie contract with the NHL club Nashville Predators, but will return to Jyväskylä for the coming season.

Kemell played an excellent season in the SM league last season. The 18-year-old attacker scored 15+8=23 power points in 39 regular season matches. The Predators booked Kemelli in the first round of this summer’s draft as the 17th player.

Kemell was part of the Junior Lions World Cup silver team at last week’s Under-20 World Cup. Kemell scored 4+8=12 in seven matches in the tournament. He was second in the points market of the Games.
