Joachim Löw has not taken over a coaching position for four years now. Where will the 65-year-old go to in the future?

Joachim Löw could soon return to the coaching bench. The former national coach confirmed on the sidelines of an event in the Europa-Park in Rust that there have been several inquiries in recent weeks, both from clubs and a national association.

“There are inquiries whether I am ready for a conversation whether I would be interested-that was over the past few weeks or two weeks,” said the 65-year-old. He is currently dealing with the respective teams, checking the framework conditions and can imagine personal conversations with those responsible in the next step. He wanted to find out “whether things would fit together”.

Since his farewell as head coach of the German national team after the European Championships in 2021, Löw has not taken on a new position. The 2014 World Champion coach trained at the DFB before its time VfB StuttgartFenerbahçe Istanbul and FK Austria Vienna.

His center of life is still in the Freiburg region. As Löw explained, he did not want to leave the city permanently. However, he could imagine a limited commitment outside of southern Baden.
