Ready Garment Technology Italia SRL (RGT) has a new owner, Joachim Beer.
The manager, who served, among other things, as Brax CEO and as President of the US business of Hugo Boss, is acquiring a 95 percent stake in the finishing specialist based in Limena, Padua, Italy, Beer announced last week. He takes over this from Dr. Bock Industries AG, which went bankrupt around two years ago.
“Technological development and textile innovation are the driving force of the industry,” explains Beer, who has been Chief Executive Officer at the Lower Saxony clothing manufacturer for around five years. “Customers are interested in innovative finishes, and they need to be continually developed further.”
In addition to Beer, Giovanni Bruno, Managing Director at Ready Garment Technology, is also a minority shareholder in the company. He is known in the industry as an innovator and developer.
According to Herford, the acquisition was notarized at the end of April as part of the ongoing restructuring of the textile production specialist.
According to its own information, Ready Garment Technology takes care of “high-quality finishes with an exclusive feel and individual look”. Customers include renowned brands such as CP Company, Burberry, Dior, Chanel.
