Actor Jeremy Renner is recovering from two surgeries after having a serious accident while working in the snow on Sunday, reports CNN.
The actor’s spokesperson said that Renner suffered injuries to his chest, among other things. Renner also suffers from orthopedic injuries.
He has been in intensive care since Monday night in a critical but stable condition.
Renner was seriously injured while doing snow work on his Lake Tahoe farm on Sunday. Renner was home alone when he began shoveling snow to create a passageway out of his apartment. The safety feature on the Sno-Cat brand plow failed, causing his foot to become trapped under the machine.
Renner was found injured at the scene of the accident and was transported to the hospital by helicopter.
According to neighbors interviewed by TMZ, Renner lost a lot of blood. According to a person close to the actor, Renner’s injuries are extensive.
Renner has previously published videos on social media in which he works in the snow.
