The 42-year-old actress Jennifer Hoffman, known from Doctor Tinus, is considering joining Extinction Rebellion. That is the activist movement that fights against climate change with controversial actions. However, she just wants to keep flying. “I understand that people think that’s hypocritical, but I think traveling is part of life.”

Critical column

Jan Dijkgraaf has one critical column written about. He finds it laughable that Jennifer just wants to keep flying for her TV program 3 Op Reis. “LOL. How do you explain that people don’t think that’s hypocritical, but that it is hypocritical? To a blonde. Come on, I’ll try,” he writes.

And also: “If you want to save the earth and sincerely believe that you have a role to play in it, then you should stop your travel program and all your vacations. As long as you don’t do that, you don’t belong to those climate activists of Extinction Rebellion. Or yes. 😉”

Jennifer angry

Jennifer is not happy about that. “Hi Jan. No one escapes hypocrisy. Not me, not you. And you may find it annoying that I care about the climate. But you don’t know me, don’t know what I do and how I live. You can ask me any questions. Let’s start there instead of attacking :),” she writes.

Jan then: “Okay, Jennifer. Feyenoord or Ajax?”

Jennifer: “Hah! I don’t really like football, so it’s all right with me. But thank you for taking steps to get to know me better, it is much appreciated. 🤗”

Yvonne or Nicolette

Jan: “It’s a bit one-way traffic this way, Jennifer. But come on: Yvonne Coldeweijer or Nicolette van Dam and why the hell Nicolette van Dam?”

Jennifer: “So I didn’t devote a column to you 😉 Nicolette van Dam because I don’t know Yvonne Coldeweijer. But come on: Writing an angry piece about someone you don’t know without proper research or a sausage roll?”

There is no response anymore. Too bad, Jennifer thinks. “I didn’t think it would be such a difficult choice…”
