But Jef Theys (67) from Olen, especially in the last 36 hours of his life, arranged a funeral as Flanders has never seen one: with a lottery that distributed his earthly possessions. “When my fate was called, I had to go forward and there was a white canvas about the prize,” says former colleague Martine.
