Jay Leno badly burned in the face after garage fire | Celebrities

CelebritiesJay Leno (72) is in the hospital. The former talk show host suffered severe facial burns and is now being treated for it, writes ‘Variety’.

TMZ already reported that Jay Leno was hospitalized on Sunday after a fire broke out in his garage in Los Angeles. One of the cars is said to have caught fire, after which Leno was burned in the face. In a response to Variety, the former talk show host has now said that his injuries are “serious” but that he is stable. “I was seriously burned by a gasoline fire. I am okay. I just need a week or two to recover.”

Leno hosted the talk show ‘The Tonight Show’ from 1992 to 2009. He then started his own talk show, ‘The Jay Leno Show’. Due to poor ratings, the American returned to ‘The Tonight Show’ in 2010 for the next four years. After that, Leno was replaced by Jimmy Fallon.

The presenter has also had his own TV show, ‘Jay Leno’s Garage’, since 2015. In it he shares his passion for everything that has to do with cars and motorcycles.
