Javelin throw medal results – Oliver Helander has a chance

Oliver Helander is Finland’s biggest hope for a medal in the javelin final.

At the World Athletics Championships, we will see a treat early on Sunday morning, when Oliver Helander and Lassi Etelätalo will compete in the javelin throw WC final at 4:35.

Helander, who has thrown his record 89.83 this season, has the better chances for a medal. Etelätalo’s record is 84.98 and the season’s best is 82.63.

Last summer at the Tokyo Olympics By Neeraj Chopra gold came off with a result of 87.58. Jakub Vadlejch threw for silver with his 86.67 meters, and Vitezslav Vesely took bronze with a throw of 85.44 meters.

A cortisone spike was placed in the shoulder before leaving for the United States. However, Helander previously assured Iltalehti that he was fit to throw.
